Drop-in Messaging About Health Screening

For Teachers

To help prevent the spread of COVID-19 and keep our school community as healthy as possible, it is more important than ever for our educators and staff to stay home if you are not feeling well. Remain home if you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms or if a family member or other close contact has been diagnosed with COVID-19 or is experiencing symptoms. 

Please check your temperature every day before coming to work. 

COVID-19 symptoms may include: 

  • Fever or chills
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Fatigue
  • Muscle or body aches
  • Headache
  • New loss of taste or smell
  • Sore throat
  • Congestion or runny nose
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Diarrhea

*This list is not all-inclusive. Please consult your medical provider for any other symptoms that are severe or concerning.


For Parents

In order to keep our [SCHOOL NAME] as healthy as possible, we need every parent’s help. Please watch for symptoms in your children and keep them home if they are sick. Please notify the school if they will be absent. Students should also stay home if a family member has been diagnosed with COVID-19 or is experiencing symptoms. 

Please take your child’s temperature before school every morning and monitor for these symptoms:

  • Fatigue
  • Muscle or body aches
  • Headache
  • New loss of taste or smell
  • Sore throat
