Commissioner of Education Dwight D. Jones will attend the National Governors Association Center for Best Practices Colorado STEM Network Meeting, “Moving STEM Forward in Colorado.”

Commissioner Jones will participate in a press briefing to announce the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) panel’s call for an overhaul of teacher preparation programs.

Commissioner Jones will attend the NCATE Luncheon and Alliance meeting.

Friday, Nov. 19
Troops to Teachers will induct Commissioner Jones into the Teachers Hall of Fame. The commissioner was selected as the first inductee into the Hall of Fame based on his long standing relationship with the Mountain Pacific Troops to Teachers office.
