Colorado READ Act

Request for Information for READ Act Assessments

Diagnostic and summative assessments are currently under review for possible inclusion on the READ Act Colorado State Board of Education Approved Lists of Diagnostic and Summative Assessments. The deadline for applicants to submit assessments for review was Monday, January 7, 2013. A timeline is provided below.

January 8-29, 2013 - Proposals under review

January 30, 2013 - If necessary, CDE will notify applicants of an in-person interview date.

February 7-12, 2013 - If necessary, CDE will host in-person interviews of applicants.

February 13 or 14, 2013 - CDE will present to the State Board of Education their recommendations for approval and inclusion on the State Board approved lists.

March 20 or 21, 2013 - The State Board of Education will vote to adopt assessments.

March 22, 2013 - Applicants will be notified of the status of their proposal.

April 1, 2013 - CDE will post to their website the State Board approved lists of diagnostic and summative assessments.
