Other School Options in Colorado
Along with charter schools, home schooling, private schools and open enrollment,
Colorado offers other educational choices
as described below.
Please note: Since school districts in the state of Colorado
have local control, the State Board of Education exercises minimal supervision
over its districts. In addition, school policies may differ from district to
district.

This law allows Colorado students to enroll in schools outside of their
residential districts.
This option offers public K-12 educational programs delivered via the Internet. Click on the link to visit CDE's Office of Online Learning, and for more information about online programs.
Check with local Colorado School Districts and BOCES to see if they offer the following choice options, and for any local policies that might have to be followed.

the program operates under the umbrella of a neighborhood school. Examples may
include a school for pregnant or parenting teens, an experiential educational
