Event Information and Online RegistrationWho should attend?We encourage Administrative Units and BOCES to bring teams which would include the special education director, federal application contact, and business manager.Event InformationThe Grants Fiscal and Exceptional Student Services Units will be hosting a joint training to provide information to the field on special education revenue and expenditure requirements and reporting procedures.Topics will include: Maintenance of Effort (MOE), Federal Application process for IDEA Part B and Preschool (narratives and budgets), project evaluation, requirements for providing services to students with disabilities in charter schools and private schools, Early Intervening Services, staff, and Extended School Year. Training will also cover the web-based system for submitting narratives and budgets, requests for funds, End of Year revenues and expenditures, and the close out process.We are offering one training on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.; this training is open to all administrative units, and BOCES.
