What Is PEP Academy?

Common People Coming Together to Do Uncommon Work for People with Disabilities - A one-day event to enhance partnerships between families and school professionals facilitated by Debi Blackwell, retired Director of Special Services and Federal Programs for Caņon City Schools. Come learn new strategies to work together for children and youth with disabilities across Colorado!

 

Who Should Attend PEP Academy?

The PEP Academy invites all Colorado special education administrators, Parents Encouraging Parents (PEP) facilitators, and Colorado Special Education Advisory Committee (CSEAC) members.

 

What Is the Intent of the PEP Academy?

To offer a one-day workshop designed to help participants in their roles as special education administrators, PEP facilitators and CSEAC members to gain a greater awareness and increased skills in effective family-school partnerships and communication.
