Fall 1999 Pupil Membership - Denver Metro Area
The Denver Metro Area consists of six counties - Adams,
Arapahoe, Boulder, Denver, Douglas and Jefferson.
The Denver/Metro area includes 386,828 (54.6%) of the
state's total fall 1999 student membership in public schools.
From fall 1989 to fall 1999, student membership in the
Denver/Metro area increased by 84,882 students (28.1%). The
total increase for all other Colorado school districts during
that period was 55,626 students (21.3%).
