TEN LARGEST DISTRICTS


From fall 1990 (574,213) to fall 2000 (724,508) Colorado’s public school membership increased by 150,295 students (26.2 percent). Colorado’s ten largest school districts increased their membership by 88,785 students (28.5 percent) during that same period. The ten largest districts account for 400,267 students (55.3 percent) of the State’s fall 2000 public school membership.
