Statement of Eligibility Renewal and Program Extension
The Statement of Eligibility (SOE) is valid for three years. If you have not entered an alternative program in that time, you may renew your SOE by submitting an alternative licensing application and the online payment up to three months prior to the SOE expiration date. Alternative files are purged after three years. If your file has been purged before you submit your renewal, you will need to include official transcripts with your application.
Alternative programs must be completed in the time allowed. However, a one year alternative program may be extended for an additional year for exceptional circumstances with approval by the Designated Agency and CDE. If the program is not completed, the candidate may not re-apply in the same endorsement area.
