Alternative Principal Preparation Programs Designated Agencies

Alternative programs are provided by approved Designated Agencies. Specific program requirements may vary based upon the candidate's background and experience. However, all programs are required to provide instruction related to the Colorado Principal Performance Standards. Program completion requires demonstration of proficiency in these standards.
Employment as an alternative principal or participation in an alternative preparation program prior to issuance of a Statement of Eligibility will not be accepted for purposes of program completion and preparation for initial licensure. |
