Initial CTE Application |

| This application
is for first-time CTE applicants and for applicants applying for
both an initial teaching license and a CTE authorization. An initial
Career and Technical Education authorization may be issued to
applicants who meet the minimum educational and occupational
requirements for the particular
endorsement/credential they are seeking. Applicants may be
required to submit a photocopy of State, National or Military
registration license, certificate, or journeyman’s card when
applicable.

Converting An Initial CTE
Authorization To A Professional CTE Authorization |

| Applicants who
wish to convert a valid/current 3-year Initial CTE authorization to
a 5-year Professional CTE Authorization must complete the
Professional CTE Authorization application. The requirement to move
to a Professional CTE Authorization is the completion of the
coursework assigned at the time the Initial CTE Authorization was
issued.

CTE Renewal & Reinstatement Application |

| This
application is to be used to renew a CTE professional authorization
or to reinstate a CTE Initial or Professional
Authorization lapsed 2 years or more. A valid CTE Professional Authorization may be renewed every 5 years with 6 semester hours or 90 contact/clock hours of renewal credit or a combination of college credit, professional development and in-service workshops that pertain to one or more of his/her CTE credential/endorsement areas. The renewal credit must have been earned no more than 5 years prior to the submission date of the CTE renewal/reinstatement application. A CTE authorization lapsed more than 2 years may be reinstated by completing the assigned coursework and submitting the completed renewal/reinstatement application with documented occupational experience.

CTE Added Pathway Application |

| Educators seeking to add an endorsement
to their valid, existing CTE authorization may do so through a
combination of academic preparation and occupational experience in
the following endorsement/credential areas. Each CTE
endorsement/credential area has
criteria and requirements associated with that specific pathway or
cluster.
