Branson School District has the desire and capability to support people displaced by Hurricane Katrina in the following ways:

1. Providing support via Branson School Online which would allow the longer term mobility for those families who think that their current location will not be their end location. This is available for K-12 students. For those students who are K-7 we would prefer that there be an adult who was available during school hours. Our teachers will want to partner with the parents or guardian for each student.

2. Branson School Online and Branson District would gladly partner with other Districts to lend its support to Districts who are running over capacity. This could be done by providing the space for the students in a computer lab with an aide and having the students work with our teachers online to help them in credit recovery, maintain or accelerate their progress.
