Twitter in Libraries

Twitter is a free service that allows users to send brief messages called tweets. Tweets are sometimes referred to as micro-blogging because they serve the same general purpose as blogging, but their length is limited to 140 characters. The advantages of tweeting are many and varied (reconnect with family and friends; share meeting minutes; etc.), and Twitter can be - and is - used for business as well as personal reasons.

Learn more about Twitter and how to use it at the Colorado Libraries 2.0 site!
