"Wow!" "Fabulous!" 'Great!" "It’ll really save me money!" What do these quotes have in common? They’re all reactions to the recent AIRS database package.
If you’ve seen any library communications this month you’ve seen the news that the AIRS committee worked out new database agreement for 2012-13. It has what you asked for: more content, affordable pricing, transparency in communications and equity among libraries of similar types and sizes.
But you might still have questions. So join others in a special Webside Chat on May 17 to talk about the new AIRS databases. This interactive webinar will discuss the new program and delve into how your library can benefit from this statewide program!

This interactive webinar will give you the opportunity to hear about current ideas and share your thoughts about priorities for the State Library to consider with regard to its programs and services. The goal of the webinar is to help inform the development of our next 5-year plan. Establishing priorities for effectively using LSTA funds is an important part of this process.

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times…which is often how people describe the AIRS database package. AIRS usually divides people into three camps: those who swear by it, those who swear at it, and those who never heard of it. Which are you?
Learn What’s Next?! as the AIRS Committee—those unsung Musketeers of the Colorado database negotiating world—begin the task of reviewing, revamping, and reanimating the state’s database world in 2012 and beyond.
