Public Libraries Can Register for 2013 Summer Reading Program Materials

Individuals:
Check with your local public library in June to register for their summer reading program.

Public library staff:
Registering for materials entitles Colorado public libraries to a program manual (through the Collaborative Summer Library Program) with program ideas for infants through adults and clip-art, as well as "basic kits" of materials for children. A limited number of "teen kits" will also be available.

Registration for the 2013 Dig Into Reading Program is open!

Notes

  • Public libraries must register by library jurisdiction and not by individual branches. Please appoint one person to register for all branches in your jurisdiction, and request sufficient materials for all.
  • Be sure to join the Colorado youth services email list (CYS-Lib) to keep informed about when manuals and basic kits are being sent out, how to apply for mini-grants and purchase READ lapel pins to promote the summer reading program, and other helpful information.
