Moving Libraries Forward: A Roadmap for Colorado Library Cooperation
(2006-2010)
The statewide strategic plan for library development includes goals and
objectives, additional material include statements on library values, and other
'givens' for library services, plus background on the document's preparation and
implementation. Most important to the library community are the six goal areas
and the accompanying visionary objectives and success indicators identified for
each. The objectives were prioritized through statewide input from the library

Goals and Objectives
Six goal areas, along with 2-3 visionary objectives and success indicators
for each have been identified. Priority items will be identified through
statewide briefings with, and comments from, the library community. The goals
and objectives are available in two formats below. Besides the goals and
objectives, additional material will be included in the final product related to
library values, and other 'givens' for library services.
