One Book 4 Colorado

One Book 4 Colorado will occur again from May 6 - 20, 2013! Through this project, we will strive to give away copies of the same book to every 4 year old in Colorado through public libraries, Reach Out and Read Colorado clinics, and Denver preschools.

This page is intended to provide information and resources to public library and health clinic staff participating in the One Book 4 Colorado project. The general public can find more information on the One Book 4 Colorado official site.

From January 14-31, all Colorado residents will be able to vote online for their favorite book between three books finalists: Chicka Chicka Boom Boom, Duck on a Bike, and Knuffle Bunny.

Webinars

There will be 3 sessions of the same webinar about OB4C in February for public libraries, Reach Out and Read CO clinics, and Denver preschools:

  • Friday, February 8, 8:00-9:00 am
  • Tuesday, February 12, 12:00-1:00 pm
  • Thursday, February 21, 10:00-11:00 am

Topics on the agenda: project goals; logistics; PR resources; partnering opportunities between clinics, libraries, preschools, and other organizations; ideas on activities using the selected book; community events around the project; project evaluation; and more.

There is no need to register for any of the sessions; just go to connect.enetcolorado.org/youth-family-services/  shortly before the session you want to join. Unable to make any of the sessions? One of them will be archived for anyone to view at a later time.
