Celebrate National Library Week -- Together!
This year, the Colorado State Library encourages you to celebrate these events
by networking with library staff from other libraries in your area.
Networking ideas:
- Reconnect with someone you haven't talked with in a while.
- Learn about creative things going on in another library just up the street!
- Meet new library people who work with the same population that uses your library.
- Share information about upcoming programs or other library activities.
- Tell a funny story about your library.
- Discover a shared interest that can lead to collaboration.
- Share a good idea or information about a good book.
What it could look like:
- Public Library <--> School Library
- High School Library <--> Academic Library
- Academic Library <--> Special Library
- Special Library <--> Public Library
- Public Library <--> Academic Library
Use the phone, email, IM, or meet for tea or lunch!
