Your School's Team Deserves a Star Player
“Your School’s Team Deserves a Star Player” materials were developed for Colorado school librarians to use to promote their school library programs.
The DVD and discussion guide demonstrate the importance of the role of school librarians in student instruction. Principals and other administrators from across the state give examples of how librarians impact teaching and learning through the collaborative process on their campuses.
The 3-fold brochure is a tool for school librarians to use with teachers, administrators, school boards, parents, and the community to illustrate how the role of the librarian impacts student learning. Librarians are the instructional partner in reading literacy, instructional design, and the research process. Librarians team with classroom teachers to ensure that Educational Technology and Information Literacy (ET-IL) are integrated into the curriculum.
