What does the School Library Senior Consultant do?
The School Library Development Program is part of the
Library Development Services unit at the
Colorado Department of
Education / State Library.
Consulting services are provided by the School Library Senior
Consultant:
- Provides technical assistance,
continuing education, and support for librarians, administrators, and
educators;
- Coordinates
and develops special projects relating to school library services;
- Provides assistance and
expertise in meeting
Colorado academic standards and improving student achievement; and
- Serves as the liaison to the Colorado Association of School Librarians (CASL).
