  • 676% increase in access to digital State Publications documents
  • 250,000 annual visits to library Jobline
  • 863,000 audio, large print and Braille books distributed

Literacy Initiatives

  • 224,796 children, teens and adult participants in statewide summer reading programs
  • 51,259 literacy brochures distributed

  • 2 State Library staff honored as 2011 Movers & Shakers
  • 2 state and national awards for exemplary services in institutional libraries and literacy

Grants & Scholarships

  • $3.3 million Public Computer Centers grant
  • 71 grants to small and rural public libraries
