National Library Week Photo Shoot

Colfax Elementary School, Denver Public Schools – March 17, 2009

I had the pleasure of heading over to Colfax Elementary School, just a few miles from our offices across from the State Capitol. I was invited to shoot pictures for a poster to promote National Library Week, which will be April 12 – 18 this year. The theme is “Worlds Connect @ Your Library….” The photo shoot was lots of fun, especially thanks to the students—Gabriel, Divinity and Rachel. I’d also like to thank their enthusiastic teacher, Ann Franco and the school principal, Joanna Martinez for their hospitality. I’m not sure which is the final shot they selected from the poster, but here’s one of the fun shots. We were all having a good time.
