House Bill 10-1412
HB10-1412 (HB 1412) requires the establishment of a 13-member committee to make recommendations to the State Board and the House and Senate Education committees concerning standards for charter schools and charter school authorizers.
This 13-member committee will form two subcommittees, one to review charter school standards and the other to review charter school authorizer standards. Recommendations from the committee will be completed by August 1, 2011. The State Board will adopt rules based on committee recommendations by January 15, 2012.
