1.  Motion for Voluntary Stay of Appeal
Deny the Motion from the Pueblo 60 Board of Education for a Voluntary Stay of Appeal Proceedings. Section 22-30.5-107.5(4) requires that the State Board "shall" issue a decision within 60 days of the filing of the Notice of Appeal. No provision of 22-30.5-107.5 authorizes the State Board to stay or otherwise waive the statutorily mandated 60 day timeline in which to issue a decision on the appeal. Consequently, Pueblo School District 60's motion must be denied.

Postpone until March 8 the proposed Rules hearing for the Administration of the Accessible Educational Materials for Students with Print Disabilities Grant Program, 1 CCR 1-301-70.

2.  Accessible Educational Materials for Students with Print Disabilities Grant Program
Approve Assistive Technology Partners, Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, University of Colorado at Denver and Health Sciences Center as the grant recipient.

That the State Board signify its acceptance and approval of the terms and conditions of the settlement agreement by directing the commissioner to sign the original copy of the agreement.

1.  A waiver request from certain statutes by the Boulder Valley School District RE-2 on behalf of Boulder Preparatory High School.
Approve the attached waiver request, in addition to the waivers that are automatically approved, for a period ending June 30, 2011 as follows: 22-33-105 and 22-32-109.1(2)(a), C.R.S.

1.  Declining Enrollment Districts with New Charter Schools - Additional Aid - Approval of Payments
Approval of payment of additional aid to declining enrollment districts with new charter schools totaling $1,283,377.

2.  Approval of Amounts Payable to School Districts for the Public School Finance Act of 1994 (as amended)
Approve payments to school districts for the Public School Finance Act of 1994 (as amended) state share of total program in the amount of $254,929,535.58 for January 2007.

3.  Postpone Rules Hearing for Amendments to the Rules for the Minimum Standards for School Transportation Vehicles, 1 CCR 301-25
Postpone until March 8 rules hearing to consider the proposed amendments to Minimum Standards for School Transportation Vehicles, 301-25.

4.  State Board/CDE Grant Requests for Proposals
Direct the Commissioner to, within thirty days, effectuate a boilerplate clause following the attached guidelines for every subsequent Request for Proposals issued by the department associated with any grant program authorized by the Colorado State Legislature and administered by the department.

1.  Proposed Teacher/Special Service Provider Induction Program: Clear Creek School District
This program is submitted for SBE information for action at the February 2007 meeting.

2.  Proposed Principal/Administrator Induction Program: Delta County School District
This program is submitted to the Colorado State Board of Education for action at its February 2007 meeting.

3.  Proposed Teacher Induction Program: Diocese of Colorado Springs.
Submitted for information for future action at the February 2007 meeting.

4.  Contract with College Board for Low-Income Student Exam Fees
This is an informational item to notify the State Board of Education that a contract with the College Board will be developed for the payment of Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate exam fees incurred for low income students. The contract will be presented to the SBE for approval in February or in March depending upon the receipt of an anticipated award by the U.S. Department of Education (USDE).

5.  Colorado Model Content Standards for Science
Review the documentation presented in December for a hearing scheduled February 8th at 11:30 a.m.
