* Extended Evidence Outcomes (Adopted August 3, 2011)
On August 3, 2011, the State Board of Education unanimously adopted the Extended Evidence Outcomes (EEOs). EEOs provide the alternate standards in Mathematics, Science, Social Studies and Reading, Writing and Communicating for students with significant cognitive disabilities who qualify for the alternate assessment. These alternate expectations are directly aligned to the grade level expectations for all students.

Career & Technical Education Standards and Validated Academic Alignments
In addition to requiring the review process of the academic standards, Senate Bill 08-212 also called for the State Board of Education to "take into account any Career & Technical Education standards adopted by the State Board for Community Colleges and Occupational Education, created in Section 23-60-104, C.R.S., and, to the extent practicable, shall align the appropriate portions of the preschool through elementary and secondary Education standards with the Career and Technical standards."
The revised and approved Career & Technical Education Standards and their alignments to the academic model content standards are available at http://www.coloradostateplan.com/content_standards.htm.
