The Colorado Department of Education uses Diploma Sender, an external internet-based service to help test takers order GED documents via email, fax and mail.
- Supporting the 2014 GED Test (PDF)
Beginning in January 2014, a new, revamped General Educational Development (GED) test will be introduced in Colorado. The GED provides an opportunity for persons who have not graduated from high school to earn a high school equivalency diploma. The 2014 GED is computer‐based and aligned to more rigorous academic standards.

Students earning a high school diploma need to be prepared for the expectations facing them the day after graduation: proceeding to college-level classes, entering military career training or earning a self-supporting salary without need for retraining or remediation.
