The mission of the Colorado Literacy Research Initiative (CLRI) is to provide access to research and statistics that inform decision-making for adult education and family literacy programs throughout the state.
This Initiative consists of four projects, including:
- the CLRI web site, which provides access to a wide array of databases and research reports
- LitScan: Facts and Figures from the Colorado Literacy Research Initiative, a series of fact sheets reporting timely data and research findings regarding literacy
- periodic special studies on adult education and family literacy issues
- technical assistance involving research and statistics issues
This Initiative is staffed by Nicole Steffan, Supervisor of the Library Research Service and staff, as a partnership between Adult Education and Family Literacy and the Colorado State Library.
