About the Colorado Literacy Research Initiative
Mission
The mission of the Colorado Literacy Research Initiative (CLRI) is
to provide access to research and statistics that inform decision-making for
adult education and family literacy programs throughout the state.
Projects
This Initiative consists of four projects, including:
- the CLRI web site, which provides access to a wide array of databases and research reports
- LitScan: Facts and Figures from the Colorado Literacy Research Initiative, a series of fact sheets reporting timely data and research findings regarding literacy
- periodic special studies on adult education and family literacy issues
- technical assistance involving research and statistics issues
Staff
This Initiative is staffed by Nicole Steffan, Supervisor of the
Library Research Service and staff, as a partnership
between Adult Education and Family Literacy and the Colorado
State Library.
