Priority for Services (PFS) Colorado Migrant Education Program Information

Health Services

Health services are an essential part of the Migrant Education Program, which plays a very important role in the success of the Migrant Student. The Migrant Education Program allocates approximately $195,000.00 to provide health services. The services may include dental, vision and medical or sealants, dental cleaning and minor/major medical services.

Summer Migrant Youth Leadership Institute (SMYLI)

The Summer Migrant Youth Leadership Institute (SMYLI) is a four-night-five-day event for 50 migrant students starting the 10th grade up to the beginning the 12th grade of high school from across Colorado. The purpose of the institute is to motivate and empower migrant students to reach their educational goals and increase their potential as leaders in their schools and communities.
