Please join us on Tuesday, February 18th from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM for our DTC Checklist Walkthrough with a Demonstration on Technical Infrastructure Trial Setup in the Pearson Training Center.  The training will be recorded and posted to: http://www.cde.state.co.us/assessment/dtcwebinars

This is an optional WebEx for DTCs to provide an opportunity to view a demonstration of the DTC checklist steps. We will also provide a demonstration of how to conduct the technical setup for the infrastructure trial in the Pearson Training Center. These steps can be applied in both PARCC and CMAS instances of PearsonAccess.

For those of you planning on using Chromebooks for the 2014 CMAS assessment, Google is offering a one hour webinar on December 19th titled “Planning for Online Assessments with Chromebooks and Google Admin Console”.   This is an open registration event from the Google Education Team (http://www.eschoolnews.com/2013/11/21/planning-online-assessments-chromebooks-google-admin-console/ ).  During this webinar the Google in Education team will provide an overview of how Chromebooks can be used as secure devices for online assessments for students.  The Google team will review how their web-based Admin console allows IT administrators to manage their school’s Chrome devices with just a few clicks.  Chromebooks can be configured as locked-down assessment kiosks and disable students’ access to surf the web during an exam, in addition to disabling external storage (e.g., USB flash drives), screenshots, audio output sources (e.g., speakers), and audio capture sources (e.g.,microphones).

Site readiness activities are designed to help you ensure that all of the testing environments in your district are ready for testing. On December 13th, there will be a CMAS Full Site Readiness Training Webinar will be available to help districts prepare for the upcoming spring CMAS: Science and Social Studies assessments.  

 

This is a recommended webinar for DTCs who have not participated in one of the CMAS field tests.  The webinar will include the following activities:
