Want more resources for Computer Science Education Week?

Celebrate Computer Science Education Week and Arts Integration with a Dance Party!

Computer Science Education Week 2023 is happening from December 4th -10th and we at CDE are joining the international campaign to help promote a “Hour of Code” in educational institutions and homes across the state of Colorado.  Educators, students, families and anyone else who is interested can participate in celebrating CSed Week and Hour of Code with a dance party!  Code.org  provides a wide variety of activities for all ages and this year they are inviting everyone to, "Learn about artificial intelligence (AI) concepts to create your own virtual dance party showcasing today's top artists. With dozens of songs to choose from, reach every student no matter their music taste. It's time to strut your stuff!"

There are so many other ways to celebrate computer science and hour of code, even after CSed Week, so for more information and resources check out our CDE CSed Week page and for general ideas on how to integrate computer science into any content area and curriculum, please visit our Computer Science Resource Bank or contact Pam Lewis, CDE's Computer Science Senior Consultant, at Lewis_P@cde.state.co.us to learn more.
