SPDG: Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS)
- The PBIS initiative made progress toward the goal that 80%
of users would achieve fidelity of PBIS implementation. The
baseline prior to the SPDG was 44% out of 475 schools measured
and increased to 60% achieving fidelity across 549 schools
measured.
- PBIS Technical Assistance Coordinators (TAC) provided
technical assistance to 85 schools in 56 districts in all 8
regions of Colorado.
- In Colorado schools implementing PBIS, the median number of
Office Discipline Referrals declined by nearly 18% in elementary
and 21% in middle schools.
