The Office of Health & Wellness and the Colorado Department of Education provides state and federal funding, training, and technical assistance to schools to prevent risk behavior, serve at-risk students and their families, and promote positive health and behavior. Coordinated School Health

Coordinated School Health connects all of the staff in a school who work with health and prevention.  They create a school health team to coordinate messages, programs and funding, and make changes to create healthy schools.

Medicaid

Colorado districts can bill for Medicaid covered services that are provided in schools. The Colorado Department of Education provides training on development of the local service plans, which are required to participate in the program.  This site provides guidance and resources.
