Data, Program Evaluation and Reporting (DPER)

The Federal Programs Unit's Data, Program Evaluation and Reporting (DPER) Office is responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of ESEA programs and fulfilling federal accountability and data reporting requirements.

The Data, Program Evaluation and Reporting Office applies a wide range of research and data analysis methods to better understand the extent to which major ESEA programs are working and what can be done to improve their effectiveness. We report back to the U.S. Department of Education as well as the field and the public regarding the progress Colorado districts and schools are making toward meeting ESEA goals through this web page and other CDE web pages.
