Consolidated Federal Programs Application
On October 28, 2011, the Colorado Department of Education (CDE) requested a waiver from the United States Department of Education (USDE) of the Tydings Amendment with respect to unobligated FY 2009-2010 funds under ESEA State-administered formula program. On December 8, the USDE granted CDE’s waiver request to extend the spending period for these funds. The waiver applies to the following funds:

Accordingly, LEAs may continue to spend any remaining FY 2009-2010 funds until September 30, 2012 or until funds are depleted, whichever comes first.
