State Roll Out Training Schedule

To support districts in implementing the optional Colorado State Model Evaluation System, CDE is working with BOCES and local districts to create a master schedule of regional trainings across the state. Over the course of the 2012-13 school year, CDE expects to offer 10-15 trainings around the state. The trainings will be a train-the-trainer model so that district staff can go back to their districts, with a toolkit provided by CDE, and train the rest of their staff on the Colorado State Model Evaluation System.

Train-the-trainer sessions are being coordinated between CDE and district/BOCES leadership. If you are interested in attending, please be sure to reach out to your district or BOCES leadership. Each BOCES or district will identity the appropriate staff to attend the training.

Please note, there are two separate trainings.

BOCES Regional Training: This training is a train the trainer model specifically designed for teacher leaders, Principals, central office administrators, BOCES Executive Directors and administrative staff. These individuals will be responsible for training on the state evaluation model at their respective schools and districts.

Ed Prep Training: This training is a Train the Trainer model specifically designed for higher ed. personnel, Deans, Alternative Ed. administrators, and specifically for those institutions who work with teacher and Principal prep programs.
