Educator Identifier Project - Project Details
The Educator Identifier System (EDIS) is being developed over a two-year period and will be sustained by staff at CDE.

In order to achieve the objectives there are several components that must be implemented. Some of these components evolve into data systems, definitions, or business processes. Below are the major components of the project that, once implemented, will allow the Educator Identifier to be successful.

How much is the implementation of the Educator Identifier expected to cost?
Collectively, the participating funding sources are contributing approximately $900,000 over a 2-year period. The State Fiscal Stabilization Fund contributed $500,000 (56%), the Rose Foundation contributed $300,000 (33%) and the Daniels' Fund contributed $100,000 (11%) to the project.
