The members of the Colorado Content
Collaboratives in World Languages,
Science, Mathematics, Physical
Education, Comprehensive Health, and
Career and Technical Education met for
the first time in Pueblo on July 23-24,
2012. Collaborative members received an
overview of the goals and expected
outcomes of their work, a briefing on
SB10-191, and training on the purpose
and use of the Content Review Tool which
will be used to evaluate the quality of
assessments for recommendation in the
Assessment Resource Bank.
The next meeting of Cohort II will
take place at the Loveland Embassy
Suites on September 19-20, 2012. This
meeting will feature the work of the
content area researchers. Meetings are
open to the public for observation.
CDE is partnering with the
Colorado Community College System to
include Career and Technical educators
in the following content areas:
Agriculture & Natural Resources;
Business, Marketing and Public
Administration; Health, CRJ and Public
Safety; Hospitality, Human Services and
Education (FACS); PWR; ACE; Skilled
Trades and Technical Sciences; STEM,
Arts, Design and IT.
