This competitive RFP is available to all the Cohort 5 and Cohort 6 21st CCLC Grantees. A webinar will be held by CDE on January 8, 2013 at 2 pm to 3 pm in order to further explain the RFP and answer questions about the ELO elements that need to be included in the application. Proposals are due to Federal Programs by 4:00 PM on February 5, 2013 and funding will be available for the Summer Programs in 2013. There is a total of $300,000 dollars available and a grantee can request a maximum of $50,000 in an application.

Colorado ESEA Waiver:  Requesting Flexibility Option for

the 21st Century Community Learning Centers Grant Program

 

The Colorado Department of Education (CDE) submited a request to amend the state’s Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) waiver to include the flexibility option related to the 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) grant program. The request was submitted to the United States Department of Education (USDE) November 15, 2012.

Note: Public comments were included in the state’s request to the USDE.
