What Parents Need to Know about CMAS
CMAS are the new state tests in English language arts, math, science and social studies that are given to all Colorado students in grades three-12. The new tests, which replace TCAP, are aligned to the shared expectations for what students across Colorado should know and be able to do.

Parent Refusals Won’t Result in Lowered Accreditation or School Rating
The state board of education adopted a motion to not hold districts liable for the decisions of parents who do not allow their children to take state tests in English language arts and math. The motion is effective immediately.
